OPERATIONS
RECRUITMENT
At Hotel Solutions Consultancy Services Nigeria limited, we put premium on recruitment of wards. This is done through print media advertisements (newspapers and others), electronic media (television and radio advertisements, internet and others), billboard advertisements, flyers and others.
Recruitment actually commences with the verification of dossiers, certificates, scrutinizing the guarantors' authenticity/credibility which also includes physical/medical evaluation. The interviews are usually conducted at the level of the General Manager, Operations Manager and Personnel/Administrative Manager and at times with external Consultants.
We maintain a policy of employing literate, smart looking, healthy and intelligent personnel with a minimum of ND/HND and University Degree in our employment. We ensure that they meet our minimum height requirement of not less than 5.8” with emphasis on maturity.
VETTING
Vetting of all staffers is carried out ascertain the authenticity of their claims. A new employee is given a comprehensive employment form and two guarantors' forms to be filled by the employee and his guarantors respectively with their passport-sized photographs attached to the forms accordingly. All these forms are to be submitted to the company on completion for further processing as the information given therein will be verified by our verification/vetting officers.
TRAINING
From the outset of our modus operandi, we have laid a strong hospitality-oriented foundation upon which the monument of result-oriented training of our staff is built so as to ensure that excellent performance and timely delivered authentic services are enjoyed by our clients. Besides, the operations department usually conducts training to instill commitment, dedication, discipline, effectiveness, efficiency and loyalty in our staff.
The training of our personnel is a priority and has necessitated making an adequate provision for a modern and well equipped training centre with highly sophisticated resource trainers/instructors. External resource trainers/instructors in Hotel Industry from within and outside the country are invited from time to time.
KITTING
At the end of training, the staffers are fully kitted for effective and efficient performance.
ASSIGNMENT /DEPLOYMENT
This is always based on the recommendation of our client notwithstanding shift basis operations are as well inherent in this.
SUPERVISION
Independent and unscheduled supervision is carried out by the Operations Manager and other Managers in the company.
While on supervision, the officers perform the following operations:
o Mark and inspect the attendance register of the staff with special emphasis on
o Absenteeism;
o Lateness;
o Smartness;
o Neatness;
o Situation of the inspected place;
o Handing and taking over procedures
o Recommended staff needs such as:
o Change of kits when necessary;
o Training requirements;
o Recommend solutions to logistic problems;
o Advise clients as appropriate.
WELFARE PACKAGE FOR OUR STAFF
Our staffers enjoy a bumper welfare package to enhance their performance. Any staffers who excel ion their duties are issued Certificates of Merit and Cash Awards as motivation for better performance.
INSURANCE POLICIES
The company maintains an insurance policy from Royal Exchange Assurance (Nig.) Plc.
Our staffers are insured under the following policies:
- Workmen Compensation
- Profession Indemnity Insurance Policy; and
- Fidelity Insurance Policy.
WORK-MEN COMPENSATION
This policy covers personal injury to any staff during his/her official assignment by way of accident, disability, etc. the Insurance Company will indemnify Hotel Solutions according to the terms of policy.
PROFESSION INDEMNITY INSURANCE POLICY
This policy indemnifies the company's executors, administrators or assignees in respect of loss arising from any claim or claims as a result of negligence.
FIDELITY INSURANCE POLICY
This policy covers injury/damage resulting from the infidel act of any staff to the insured and the third party. This agreement shall be executed in accordance with the policy document.
